The good pool and the spa replace the proven fact that the Taj Green Cove isn't on the beach, so you can be confused by the name, and though we knew this we didnt realise it was a ten minute ride in a to the Lighthouse beach, and this can be off putting.
To be fair the resort and the accommodation were well up to international five star standards. We were in a room, wonderful view, luxurious, DVD player, actually all of the trimmings, including an attractive view.
The swimming pool can be an infinity pool, with overgrown tropical plants, but kept especially clean considering all of the foliage. We spent a lot of very relaxing time around the pool.
The food didn't encourage, and the Curries restaurant stated a lot more than it sent, and we were a bit disappointed in the breakfasts. Consequently a lot was eaten out by us, and though we found Lighthouse beach enters, and the beach it self quite ugly, there have been lots of eating houses/shacks within easy walking reach.
Eventually the staff were all very valuable, very prepared to please, and unobtrusive, always the unmistakeable sign of a high class hotel. If you know anything, you will likely wish to discover about pool cleaning oc.
