Hi, my title is Carol and I'm addicted to audio books.
My story: I am 32 and addicted to audio books. I've been trying to reduce but I cant.
I was first presented srs audio sandbox to mp3 audiobooks 12 years back. My parents bought a bithday present as me a King audio book. It included 10 books on cassettes each 2-5 minutes. I finished playing it the first night. Then, I began buying audio books for me and for each of my friends birthdays (if they preferred audio books or not).
I moved to audio books on CDs and later on to online audio books as times handed. I've known each of the on the web audio book rental services and buying services. In fact, I had a free account in many of these.
My average output was two audio books per week but I remember some weeks where I skipped sleeping and heard around five audio books. I purchased just about any new fiction audio book in the market.
I were able to find some free audio books but still paid a lot of money for my audio book series.
I got addicted to the convenience of getting a miniature book. I got addicted to the music, the narration and the sound clips.
I got hooked on the ability to listen to audiobooks anytime and everywhere (I remember hearing it in the toilet and in work and in other weird places).
And then I decided to make the transfer. If I cant beat it, I'd join it. I resigned from work and made a career out of my activity I began earning money out of my comprehensive understanding of audio books.
In these times, I publish opinions about new audio books and serve as an expert for audio books writers. I'm content listening to free audio books and being paid for this (just finished listening to the past Harry Potter audio book).
