Local customisations of site-wide preferences

Site-level preferences are located in TWiki.TWikiPreferences, however this Public.TWikiPreferences prefs topic has override priority and should be used for local customisations. This allows for easier upgrades as you don't need to worry about the shipped preferences clobbering yours. It's easier to keep a handle on if you only copy over the settings you actually change.

• FINALPREFERENCES locks site-level preferences that are not allowed to be overridden by WebPreferences or user preferences:
  • Set FINALPREFERENCES = ATTACHFILESIZELIMIT, PREVIEWBGIMAGE, WIKITOOLNAME, WIKIHOMEURL, ALLOWROOTCHANGE, DENYROOTCHANGE, TWIKILAYOUTURL, TWIKISTYLEURL, TWIKICOLORSURL, USERSWEB, SYSTEMWEB, DOCWEB

  • Set FAVICON = /twiki/pub/favicon.ico
  • Set WEBLOGOIMG = /twiki/pub/img/dyb_logo_60.jpg
  • Set WEBLOGOURL = /twiki/bin/view/Public/WebHome/Public/
  • Set WEBLOGOALT = Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment

• List of Webs - on the first line of the upper toolbar:
  • Set WIKIWEBLIST = Public | 中文 | Internal | Help

• Web settings:
  • Set WEBTOPICLIST = Users | Groups | Changes | Index | Search | Go

• Change the name of site
  • Set WIKITOOLNAME = Daya Bay

• Select a skin
  • Set SKIN = rdiffword, genpdf, dayabay, classic

• Maximum size of FileAttachments in KB, 0 for no limit:
  • Set ATTACHFILESIZELIMIT = 30000

• Prevent automatic linking of WikiWords and acronyms (if set to on); link WikiWords (if empty).
  • Set NOAUTOLINK = off

• Turn off non-WikiWords warnings
  • Set HIDE_NON_WIKI_WORD_WARNINGS = on

• For changing WIKITOOLNAME
  • Set WIKILOGOALT = Powered by TWiki
