CAS seals co-op partnership with Guangdong nuclear power firm
On behalf their organizations, CAS Executive Vice President BAI Chunli
and President of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co. Ltd (CGNPC) HE Yu
signed a framework agreement for comprehensive Science and Technology
cooperation on Sept. 29 in Beijing.
Chaired by CAS Vice President SHI Erwei, the ceremony was attended by CAS
President LU Yongxiang and Vice Commissioner of the State-owned Assets
Supervision and Administration under the State Council SHAO Ning.
Also at the ceremony, CGNPC Vice President SHEN Rugang and Director of the
CAS Institute of High Energy Physics CHEN Hesheng put their names on an
agreement for cooperation on Daya Bay neutrino experiment.
The two sides agreed that they will be committed to the establishment of a
long-term strategic partnership and a comprehensive S&T cooperation platform for
the research progress in the fields of nuclear power, nuclear physics and
high-energy physics.
